A. DISLOYALTY IN ACTION (John 13:2).

b) The uselessness of outward religious blessings and privileges.

c) The uselessness of mere head knowledge.

B. LOYAL LOVE IN ACTION (John 13:3-5).

1) What the Lord knew (John 13:3).

a) Who He was and what He had –

b) Where He came from –

c) Where He was going –

2) What the Lord did (John 13:4-5).

a) The custom of foot washing.

b) The upside down Kingdom of God.

c) The Sovereign serving in love.

(1) Jesus rose from supper –

(2) laid aside His garments –

(3) girded himself with a towel –

(4) poured water, washed and wiped feet –

Phil. 2:6-11 – Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ.
