Intro
A. THE FAULT OF THE FIRST COVENANT (Heb. 8:7-8, 13).
1) Faults and consequences:
a) The fault with the first covenant (Heb. 8:7).
b) The fault with Israel (Heb. 8:8-9).
– “Finding fault with them” (Heb. 8:8)
– “They did not continue in My covenant” (Heb. 8:9)
c) Consequences of Israel’s failure (Heb. 8:9). “And I did not care for them,”
2) The Old Covenant was made obsolete and ready to disappear (Heb. 8:13).
B. THE BETTER SECOND COVENANT (Heb. 8:6-13).
