               A. THE BLIND MAN (John 8:1).

1)   What is the reason why this man is blind.

2) The prevailing thinking of the day.

               C. THE THEOLOGICAL ANSWER (John 8:3-5).

1) This blindness is not due to sin (John 8:3).

2) This blindness is so the works of God might be displayed (John 8:3).

3) Doing the Father’s works while it is day (John 8:4).

4) I am the Light of the world (John 8:5).

               D. THE HEALING (John 8:6-7).

1) Jesus spat on the ground (John 8:6).

2) The blind man washed in the pool of Siloam (John 8:7).

               E. THE CONTROVERSY (John 8:8-12).
