               Intro

               A. THE SETTING OF THE MIRACLE (John 6:1-4).

1) Other side of Sea of Galilee (John 6:1).

2) The large multitude (John 6:2-3).

3) Passover was near (John 6:4)

               B. THE GREAT NEED (John 6:5).            

1) The Lord tests hearts (John 6:5-6).

2) Philip failed the test (John 6:7).

3) Andrew failed the test (John 6:9).

               C. THE GREAT FEED (John 6:9-14). 

1) The lad with 5 barley loaves and 2 fish (John 6:9).

2) The grouping of the people (John 6:10; Mk. 6:39-40).

3) The food in the Master’s hands (John 6:11).

4) The abundance (John 6:12-13).

               D. LESSONS: 

1- The Lord tests us the same way.

2- Bring our needs to God and trust Him to abundantly meet them.

3- The lad gave what he had.
