               A.   JEWS: YOU ARE A SAMARITAN AND A DEMON (John 8:48).

               B. CHRIST’S DEFENSE #1 (John 8:49-51).           

1) I honor My Father and you dishonor Me (John 8:49-50).

2) Whoever keeps My word he will never see death (John 8:51).

               C. JEWS: WE KNOW YOU HAVE A DEMON (John 8:52-53).

Are you greater than Abraham and the prophets who kept God’s word and yet who also died (implied NO answer)?

 

               D. CHRIST’S DEFENSE #2 (John 8:54-59).

1) My Father glorifies Me (John 8:54).

2) You do not know My Father (John 8:55).

3) Abraham rejoiced to see My day (John 8:56).

4) Before Abraham was born, I AM (John 8:58).
