Intro
I. THE CAPTURE OF JERUSALEM (14:1-2).
A. A day of victory will follow a day of defeat (v. 1).
B. The LORD gathers the nations for battle (v. 2).
II. THE LORD RESCUES HIS REMNANT (14:3-5).
A. The return of the LORD. His second coming is suggested by:
1) His return to the Mt. of Olives.
2) The LORD comes with “all the holy ones with Him” (v. 5).
B. The event that follows the second coming.
1) There will be no light in that day (14:6-7). Cf. Rev. 21:23, 25; 22:5.
2) This Jerusalem has a river of living water (14:8). Cf. Rev. 22:1-2.
3) The LORD is king over all the earth (14:9).
4) Jerusalem will be exalted (14:10).
