Review of Gen. 3:15.

A. The growth of the seed of the woman (Gen. 4-5).

1) Gen. 4 –  Cain, then Seth.

2) Gen. 5 – The generations of Adam (5:1).

B. The corruption of the seed of the woman (Gen. 6-8).

1) Gen. 6 –  Depravity and corruption.

2) Gen. 7 – Noah’s ark and flood.

3) Gen. 8 – Noah’s altar and covenant.

C. A new beginning for the seed of the woman (Gen. 9-11).

1. Gen. 9 –

a) The rainbow covenant (9:1-17). Made with Noah and his “seed” (v. 9).

b) The blessing on Shem (9:25-27)

2) Gen. 10 –  generations of Japheth, Ham and Shem (10:1).

3) Gen. 11 – The descendants of Noah.  Tower of Babel.  Generations of Shem (11:10).  Takes us to Abram (11:26).
