A. OUR GREATER WORKS (John 14:12).

1) What are these “greater works”?

a) Miracles.

b) Converts.

c) Charity.

2) How are these “greater works” accomplished?

B. OUR EFFECTUAL PRAYERS (John 14:13-14).

1) Prayer: “in My name”

a) our only access to the Father is through Jesus.

b) reflects the attributes of Jesus.

2) Purpose:

C. OUR OBEDIENT LOVE (John 14:15).

1) True love for Jesus keeps His commandments.

2) Love empowers obedience.

3) No antinomianism.

D. OUR ETERNAL HELPER (John 14:16-17).

1) Another Helper.

a) to strengthen, support someone.

b) to speak on one’s behalf,  our advocate.

2) He will be with you forever.

3) The Spirit of truth abides with you and will be in you.
