II. SUPERIOR IN HIS NAME (Hebrews 1:4-5).

A. What is the name?

B. When did He become better? When did He inherit a more excellent name?

When was Christ begotten?

1) Earthly life.

2) Resurrection. Acts 13:33-34.

III. SUPERIOR BECAUSE ANGELS WORSHIP HIM (Hebrews 1:6).

#3 Ps. 97:7 or Deut. 32:43.

1) The ?firstborn?.

2) When is he brought into the world?

3) The angels worship Christ.

IV. SUPERIOR AS THE SOVEREIGN OVER HIS SERVANTS (Hebrews 1:7).

1) The Son?s throne is eternal because He is God (Hebrews 1:8a).

3) The Son, who is God, is anointed by His God (Hebrews 1:9bc).
