II. THE CONTENT OF PAUL?S PRAYER?
A. THE PETITION: Fill believers with the knowledge of His will (v. 9).
1) To be filled with knowledge.
2) To what does “the knowledge of His will” refer?
3) Not just intellectual knowledge.
HOW DO WE GET THIS KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM?
B. THE PURPOSE: that believers might live to please the Lord (v. 10a).
1) A worthy walk.
2) The importance of pleasing God.
3) The extent of pleasing God.
C. THE PRACTICAL: “bearing, increasing, strengthened, giving thanks”(vv.10b-14).
