B. LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR (Mark 12:31).

1) Love for others is linked to love for God.  1 Jn. 4:12, 20-21; 5:1.

2) A mark of the new birth.  1 John 3:14; 1 John 4:7; John 13:35.

3) How do we love others?

a) “as yourself.”

(1) Not modern psychological self-love.

(2) Biblical self-love.

(3) Sinful self-love.

b) with Christ-like love.     John 13:34; Eph. 5:2; 1 Pet. 4:8.
