A. THE HOLY SPIRIT’S EYE ON CYPRUS (Acts 13:4).

1. The HS is leading the ministry.

2. The island of CYPRUS.

B. TO THE JEWS FIRST (Acts 13:4-6a).

1. Content of their preaching (Acts 13:5).

2. Where they preached (Acts 13:5-6).

a. “in the synagogues of the Jews” (Acts 13:5).

b. “through the whole island as far as Paphos” (Acts 13:6).

3. John Mark was with them (Acts 13:5).

C. THE CONVERSION OF SERGIUS PAULUS (Acts 13:6b-12).

1. Bar-Jesus (Acts 13:6, 8)).

a. His description.

b. “with the proconsul” (Acts 13:7).

2. Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence (Acts 13:7).

3. Elymas opposed the gospel (Acts 13:8).
