I.  THE MAIN POINT (Heb. 8:1-2):   Jesus is a superior high priest.

 

A. Jesus is a kingly high priest (Heb. 8:1).

 

B. Jesus is a seated high priest (Heb. 8:1).

 

C. Jesus is a heavenly high priest (Heb. 8:1).

 

D. Jesus is a minister in the sanctuary above (Heb. 8:2-4).

 

 

II.  THE EARTHLY VS. HEAVENLY TABERNACLE (Heb. 8:5).

 

A. “Copy, shadow” of the heavenly pattern.
