Intro

 

A. BELIEVERS DIE WITHOUT RECEIVING THE PROMISES (Heb. 11:13).

 

1. Believers die before they receive all the promises.

 

2.  Seeing and welcoming them from afar.

 

3. Strangers and exiles on the earth.

 

B. BELIEVERS SEEKING A COUNTRY OF THEIR OWN (Heb. 11:14-16).

 

1. Not their native country (Heb. 11:14-15).

 

2. A better and heavenly country (Heb. 11:16).

 

3. The land of Canaan is a type of the new earth and the eternal state.

 

C. GOD IS NOT ASHAMED OF THEM (Heb. 11:16).
