A. JEWISH ATTITUDE TOWARD GENTILES.

1. The traditional Jewish bias.  

2. Jesus’ attitude.   

a.  Tax-collectors and sinners – Luke 7:34 

b. Woman caught in adultery – John 8:4-11

c. Touched lepers which others would run from – Mt. 8:2-3

d. Samaritans – John 4:9 

e. Gentiles – Mark 7:26-29 

B. THE OT ATTITUDE TOWARD GENTILES.

1. Gentiles were pagan idolaters.   Eph. 2:11-12; 4:17-19

2. The OT predicted the inclusion of Gentiles into God’s people.  

– Gen. 12:3; 17:4; 22:18; 

– Ps. 2:7-8; 

– Isa. 2:2-3; 19:25; 49:6;
