The Passover and the Produce
Intro
A. THE PASSOVER IN THE LAND (Joshua 5:10).
1. The importance of the Passover. Ex. 23:17
2. The recipients of the Passover. Ex. 12:44, 48.
3. The requirement of the Passover in the land. Ex. 12:25
4. The character of God in the Passover.
a. The distinguishing sovereignty of God. Ex. 11:7

B. THE PRODUCE OF THE LAND (Joshua 5:11-12).
1. They ate food from the land on the 15th day of the first month (Joshua 5:11).
2. The manna stopped on the 16th day of the first month (Joshua 5:12).
C. THE PASSOVER APPLICATION FOR THE CHURCH.
1. The Passover has been changed to the Lord’s Supper.
2. Christ is our Passover (1 Cor. 5:7).
3. Things to do when taking the Lord’s Supper:
a. Review your life
b. Reflect on the cross of Christ.
c. Reflect on the coming of Christ.
d. Respond in thanksgiving.
4. The helmet of salvation.
