The Blessed Man
 

Intro

 

A. CHARACTERISTICS OF A BLESSED MAN (Psalm 1:1-2).

 

1) His relationship to the wicked.

 

a) Does not WALK in the counsel of the wicked –

 

b) Does not STAND in the path of sinners –

 

c) Does not SIT in the seat of scoffers –

 

2) His relationship to the Word.

 

a) He delights in the Word.

 

b) He meditates in the Word.

 

B.  CONSEQUENCES OF A BLESSED MAN (Psalm 1:3).

 

1) Like a tree firmly planted by streams of water –

 

2) Bears fruit in its season –

 

3) Leaf does not wither –

 

4) Prospers in everything he does.

 

C.  CONTRAST WITH A WICKED MAN (Psalm 1:4-6).

 

1) Characteristics of the wicked man (Psalm 1:4).

 

2) Consequences of the wicked man (Psalm 1:5-6).
