I. “ABIDING” IS NOT MYSTICAL.

II. ABIDING IN CHRIST MEANS:

A. Union with Christ (John 15:3).

B. Communion with Christ.

1) On-going faith.  Jn. 6 :56, 54, 47; 1 John. 4:15.

2) Walk in His Word (John 15:7).  Jn. 8:31

3) Keep His commandments (John 15: 10).  1 Jn. 3:6, 24.

4) Live in His love (John 15: 9-10).

5) Understand your inability (John 15: 4-5).

C. The need of the Spirit.  1 Jn. 4:13.

Conclusion
